Yes, DiamondGlow Plus can help with your acne. First, the DiamondGlow facial unclogs pores and eliminates the environments that promote the growth of acne-causing bacteria. Because the DiamondGlow serums are customizable, we can infuse special formulations that fight acne into your clean, healthy skin for maximum benefit.
Laser Genesis helps tighten these cleansed pores, reducing their size as it also helps reduce the appearance of acne scarring.
Good candidates for DiamondGlow Plus meet one or more of the following requirements:
- You want to address the signs of aging and want healthier, glowing skin.
- If you have a history of herpes/cold sores, you will need to take medications before treatment.
- Any skin tone can have DiamondGlow Plus—including darker/tanned skin tones.
- Do not have a sunburn, abrasion, or wound in the treatment area.
- Have not used tretinoin, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid in the week before treatment.
- Have not waxed the skin in the treatment area in the past 2 weeks.
- Have not had a chemical peel in the past 2 to 3 weeks.
- Are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not currently have active acne.
- Have no skin breakouts or infections.

The dual-treatment combination in a DiamondGlow Facial generally takes an hour to complete. Part of the beauty of a DiamondGlow Plus facial is that there’s no downtime after your treatment. You can return to your regular daily activities immediately.
We do recommend avoiding direct sunlight and tanning beds for 2 weeks before and after your treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive temperatures for 24 hours. Mild redness and swelling can be expected, which typically subsides within 24 hours. We will send you home with SkinCeuticals PhytoCorrective Masque or a calming product that best suits your needs. It’s great to sleep in this mask overnight to further calm your skin and enhance your results!
